Syncing CB650 Carbs?
« on: September 19, 2008, 09:55:44 PM »
I have my manometer set up, but I'm somewhat confused on how to hook it up.

I've got all 3 hoses hooked up, but the last hose I can't seem to figure out where to hook it up to. Second cylinder's vent hole is used by the accelerator pump. Anybody know how I hook up my 4th tube to the 2nd carburetor?

What year CB650?  On my '79 engine, all four manifold vacuum ports are available.  And, why are you referring to the "vent hole"?  Can you take a pic?

'82. I mean vacuum port. Pretty new stuff to me. All 4 are available but the second port has a connector from the accelerator pump screwed into it. Any ideas?

No...that 1 port there goes to your vacuum operated petcock.

just (carefully!) unscrew it, and put your 4th lead there.
