What year is the bike? I dont think those connectors are stock. Mine has bullet connectors.

It's a 77. I know there's a few "added" connections, does anybody have a pic of what it should look like?

Well I don't think it's supposed to look like that.  I think there should just be one white connector, and that's for the headlight.  The rest should be bullets.  Looks as if some enterprising mechanic decided to make things "easier" by using the connectors.
Are you having electrical problems?  Just trying to get to know the bike?  These bikes are so old that finding one that hasn't been modded in one way or another is pretty hard.  Don't rack your brain too hard trying to find out what's what.  Just get a wiring diagram, available in the FAQ's.  Sit down with it in front of your bike and let the gears turn.
Just call me Timmaaaaay!!!

So I guess the rat's nest is somewhat supposed to be there...
I think I was just expecting the same as the headlight bucket in my Jeep- three wires, one plug.

No problems yet- I'm not sure that the headlight will fit back into the bucket though.....
I'm just trying to get to know what should and shouldn't be there.

I have the head and cylinders out and at the machine shop right now, so I'm just trying to see what else I should look at while it's apart and I can easily get at all the wiring.
