Topic: France Equipement Chain Lube

Anybody knows if someone is selling that chain lube in North America?  My mechanic sprayed my chain with it and nothing splashed after (it was the only can he had). Then I bought another brand and I got oil drops everywhere (wheels, mufflres, etc).

If nobody knows about the France Equipement Chain Lube, I would appreciate comments about other brands that would do a good job.

I use cheap ass white lithium grease in a spray can.

1.99 a can(walmart, sears, homedepot, lowes, k-mart, autozone, pep boys, checkers etc.)
I use it liberally(EVERY 100 miles religiously)...
Haven't had any "fling" off really, for me overspray is a problem... but flinging off?
What are you normally using???

I do however only spray after a minimum 10 mile ride to warm the chain up and allow the grease to "creep" into the links.
Then let the bike sit for at least 1/2 hour after spraying.
Works for me!

I use PJ1 chain lube in the black can for non-oring chains.

It is a sticky lube in a solvent carrier for penetration into the chain links.  If you ride right away after application it will fling off.

However, if you apply when the chain is hot at the end of a day's ride and don't over apply it, it stays with the chain pretty well, and leaves a nice thick grease on the internal pins and plates wear surface interface.

Or, another great product is Castrol chain wax in a spray can. It goes on as a spray, solidifies and then melts when the chain warms up to lube all the hard to get at bits...
