Hondatwins site
« on: October 29, 2008, 07:14:15 am »
Hey guys

I know hondatwins has been down for a while. A host change broke the forums database.
Some of you may know that I was in a motorcycle accident at the end of August, and was in the hospital for 2 months.
I'm going to be fixing the hondatwins site, but with the database broken, I may have to put it up fresh, everyone would have to reregister, and none of the old topics would be there, until I get someone to fix the database and then I could combine the old with the new...

What do you guys think? The reason it's been down so long is I was loath to just restart the forum without the great info that was already there...

Please let me know what you think.
No.

Ive decided to try the forum again.

Ive had to start it from scratch.. none of the good old stuff there, and anyone who wants to post there will have to reregister.

Eventually the old database will be sent to me.
When I get it, I'll have to decide how to integrate the old database(s) into the new.
There were a lot of posts on that forum, and a reasonable number of users. I may be able to save any new posts and integrate them into a converted old forum, same with users, I'm just not sure.

Ive gone to simple machine over ubb. It's friendlier, in my opinion.

No.

It doesn't seem to be the same twins site as I just tried to go there and couldn't?
