Motorcycle Classics Magazine
« on: November 04, 2008, 06:58:37 PM »
Figured this would be as good a place as any....

I am looking for the July/August 2008 issue of Motorcycle Classics Magazine.

In fact I need TWO copies. If anyone is willing to part with their issue I would gladly appreciate it. It has a red Moto Guzzi Le Mans on the cover and the rider has a yellow full-faced helmet on.

Figured I'd take a stab in the dark.

Hi. I'm the publisher of Motorcycle Classics. I believe we have copies of that issue available. Should be faster and cheaper than going through England - unless you're in England.  :) The customer service number is 1-800-880-7567. If you don't have luck there, ask to be transferred to Bryan Welch - me.

If more companies were like that, they would get and keep a lot of business.  Many businesses have lost my business due to poor customer service.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Where's the best place to get the back issues?  I became a subscriber around the "Carpy" issue and that's my first one.  I would need every one before that to complete the set up to this point.

Thanks!

Bryan you are my savior!!

I am the previous owner of the Kawasaki ZX750 Turbo in the "Turbo Duel" part of the "6 Classics Compared" topic.
My reason for asking for two extra copies is I would like to have the article framed as a gift to the current owner. He doesn't know so if you know him please don't say anything!!!

I wasn't looking to steal them from anyone for my own personal gain. ;D I promise.

My family has some history with that particular bike as well as the one I currently own. So I was trying to do something special. Thanks Bryan I'll be calling tomorrow!!
