Cork Float Bowl Gasket
« on: September 22, 2005, 06:52:34 PM »
Just picked up a 1978 cb550k3. Learning pretty quickly these aren't common carbs on the bike :) Anyhow, went to find float bowl gaskets and came up empty. So, went to the auto parts store and picked up a sheet of 1/16" rubberized cork. Just wanted to see if anyone has gone this route and has input before I put all the effort into cutting some up.

Thanks for the links. I'm gonna order em up from Old Bike Barn. and yeah, the rubberized cork only had a 50% success rate on the carbs LOL
