left hand control wiring question.

I want to remove the left hand controls. Can I simply unplug the harness and everything will continue to work? Also what is the wiring coming from the clutch lever??
I imagine once the control is remove there will only be a low headlight. This can be resolved by running slightly higher wattage bulb with a fuse?

It is my mission to clean the bars as much as possible:
So far, key and start button under the seat.
gsxr mc
2.5" gauges
toggle switch on the bucket for run/kill
idiot lights replaced with 3 small leds

What bike? What do you have on the left side at the moment? Turn,horn, dimmer?
You can't just unplug it and everything work, you will have to do some rewiring in harness. Do you plan on having turn signals?

running headlight, no horn, no turn signals. The bike is a 77 750f. I just plan to unplug, not remove completely, incase I want to reinstall.

2 wires at clutch lever?? green, green/red??

Looks like it provides a ground connection for the starter relay. A safety switch. So you don't start the bike in gear without pulling in the clutch lever. If you just disconnect, you'll have to go to neutral to use the starter. If you tie 'em together you'll have to use your noggin, and pull in the clutch, before you use the starter. :)

So I guess, just disconnect, the horn, signals and headlight wires and I will be fine.

As for the clutch lever, I will just leave it or always start the bike in Nuetral.
