Looking at the condition I wasn't really interested so I made a token offer "I'll give you $250" said I "OK" said he ("bugger" thought I)
Anyway, got it home with the intention of getting it running first, went through the usual checks, plugs, points, carbs, oil change (getting the oil filter off was another problem, I can make suggestions if anyone has the stuck fast bolt). All looked good....
Put a battery on it and thought I'd hit the starter just to see what happened, she started and sat there burbling away, she just wanted to go.
So now I've moved into resto mode, I'm not heading for an original look, rather the Cafe look.
