Hello everyone

I just picked up an 82 CB650SC which has been sitting outside for the last 2 yrs.
This would be my first 4 Stroke Street bike.
(I know, I know, NOW!)  RED HEADED STEP, DEVIL CHILD THING FROM HELL I mean HONDA 

Should have researched it BEFORE I bought it, but for $250 it was hard to pass up. And yes it won’t start, No spark.
That’s what brought me here, reading your posts made me want to pick your brains.

Was just wondering if someone might know if the pickup coils from an early 80s 750 or 550 might work on these bikes . These seem to be the only difference in the ignition system ?
No aftermarket for the 650s, but a few for the 750s and 550s

And when I can figure out this  %^$&*##  camera will try to get some Pics.

83 XR500R, New in 84. still running strong go Honda!

Greetings from the Springs. I think the only 650 from Colorado on the forum is Terry. He's in north Denver. Post your questions at SOHC4 Bikes for MUCH better responses. And as always we encourage 2 things: pictures and useage of the search function
