I wonder if the Yamaha xs750 ad influenced me to buy one. Doubt it as I just like the way it rode.

My brother had a Puch, sold by Sears in the 1960s as "Allstate" bikes in 106cc and 124cc sizes. He had the smaller one. We called it "the Pudd".  ::)
