Any of You guys use a product called rust mort inside Your tanks?
I use it for treating rust before filler or skim coats, it converts rust back to metal with minimal surface prep aside from removing the scale.
Just curious
I farted and made my son cry.

This is just 45% phosphoric acid with a bit (1-5%) of isopropyl alcohol added for reasons unknown to me.
If it's cheap, fine. Behr concrete etch is stronger (higher acid content) and pretty cheap.

Never heard of rust mort.

What is Behr concrete etch? Do you know what type of acid is in it? Where do you purchase it?

Thanks!!

My guess is that the alcohol is added to absorb any latent moisture inside the tank that may be clinging to the rust.  Seems like a good idea to me.  That being said, it would be pretty easy to make your own homebrew version.
