speedo drive retaining pin.

buggered this pin up on removal, can I use a regular dowell pin?  the old one had some kind of saw tooth edge at the split. thanks jeep.

Your local hardware store should have a box of roll pins to pick from..... or you can get your own assortment from Harbor Fright. I wouldn't recommend using a solid dowel.
