Opinions on which muffler
« on: January 05, 2009, 04:03:03 pm »
I currently have a Mac 4-2 system on my 78 750 and I am going to replace the mufflers with Emgo Roadhawks. Just not sure which one.
It's either the Emgo Wide Megaphone 80-84013 or the Emgo Long Megaphone 80-84034 ???

Whatcha tink?

Thanks

That's what I was thinking Fuzzy.
I like the look of the old "Pea Shooter", as I have heard the referred to. ;D
Just not sure how they will look with just one either side as opposed to the original two. ???

Thanks

Anyone else running these mufflers on a 4-2 ?

I would love to hear a sound bite.

First. I cut the hell out of mine to get it work as a one piece, but it's well worth it. No sound bite, but it's beast 8)

Thanks Kev,
I DO LIKE that side profile. Mine will be the longer ones and I do have a little mod to do to make the 13/4" muffler fit the 2" Mac Header (Anodized Aluminum and a lot of polish  ;D ;D).
That's it I'm convinced,  I'm gonna order them today. :o :o

Not that it matters but do they have removable baffles? ???

Thanks

I like the second one but then I do not have a k6 or earlier but then even on the early Ks, I think the wide looks better. The whole peashooter thing looks kinda sissy.

I have this style on my bike.

2 on each side an I really like it.
