Thanks Andy! Still some things to dial in but I'm pretty much beside myself happy with it today  ;D

Just have to let it prove itself a little and I'll take it farther afield

That's me on my '81 CB650, my brother was flying over with another brother shooting video. He apparently had the camera set wrong so the footage was mostly garbage but it was still a hoot to by flying along a road looking at a plane 400' up right next to me. I could keep up with them at about 75mph, Cessna 150's don't go very fast ;)

Hahaha I dont discriminate, I ride everywhere  ;)  ;D

It ran fine with no problems. It was the K4 (Mac 4-2 at the time, stock airbox/jets - 110/40) which runs a tad rich in any case so going to altitude was not a problem. Its been in the Rockies, in the Alps and in the Central Mexican highlands and never a problem with running lean. I also had a CB750K6 (stock, 4-4) back in 1991 and rode it across the Rockies and again no problem.

cheers

Could be, could be.

Of course, in Texas, some say that Louisiana is a penal colony for drunk drivers!   :o

I won't go that far, but I can remember when Louisiana had drive through bars.   :-\

Nope, not kidding.  It was a long time ago, but I can remember driving through Louisiana and seeing drive thrus where you could get your favorite adult beverage to drink as you drove down the road.

But heck, up until about 15 years ago you could drive with a beer in your hand in Texas.  Great fun as long as you could control yourself.

It is funny how people have that impression of Jersey.  I've flown into Newark a couple times, and when you look out the window duing the 15 minute approach into that airport, it's just sprawling industrial plants as far as you can see.  That had always been my impression of Jersey until my brother hiked the Appalachian Trail (from Georgia to Maine). He told me that of all the states they walked through, New Jersey was the most beautiful.
