Once again, enough. Let this thread return to its intended purpose.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

FFS Spanner, this is just too much, there was NOTHING degrading, Sexual, pornographic or what ever other superlatives you would like to throw around about that post, and i'm sure it wasn't meant that way at all. I just showed my wife and my bosses wife and asked what they thought, the bosses wife thought you maybe didn't  like Heffay  because there was "obviously NOTHING sexual about his post and my wife thought you were carrying on like a fool. I know you are not the most political correct guy here and neither am i but then you take something completely out of context and run with it  {political correctness gone mad ?}. I completely fail to see how a reference to gravel rash on someones butt is sexually degrading,  stop making a mountain out of a mole hill .....  And just in case you think its all about you mate, if someone DID say something derogatory about your beautiful wife, i would be the first guy to back you up... Lets keep this real . And this is my last post on the subject, i just felt for the sake of everyone reading that some clarity would help..  If you wish to reply Spanner, do it by PM... ;)

Sorry Bob but when something is posted in a public forum in front of the entire world we are completely free to have our say { as Spanner likes to do with noobies with "silly" questions}, not trying to be a smart ass but i thought that was completely obvious.... ;)  No offense intended  {i'm getting sick of saying that}

This is Karin, Ray's wife. (Spanner1) I have two points to make. First, if I'm in a full helmet, full jacket, wearing gloves and motorcycle boots why would anyone assume I'm pairing all that safety equipment with yoga pants? That doesn't make any sense.

Secondly, what also doesn't make any sense is to reference that picture and use the phrase "sweet ass cheeks." What on earth? I don't know this character. Who does he think he is? Ray has every right to give him hell over it and to give hell to anyone else that thinks it's okay to refer to wives/girlfriends with comments about their 'sweet ass cheeks.' It is a blatantly inappropriate remark. I would like to know from the moderator what other phrases will be tolerated the next time Ray posts a picture of me covered from head to toe in motorcycle gear? Ass makes the list, what about b**bs? Tits? Does vagina make the list or how about p#ssy?

I've been on a bike since I'm 12. I can dish it out and take a joke but only if we're friends. Random pervs on websites don't get to make sexual remarks about me without some retaliation from my husband. This is a moderated forum, Ray and I are very disappointed that we have to take this so far to get this addressed. We expect the moderator to make a statement that condemns overtly sexual comments aimed at women.

It's a MODERATED forum.... any member has every right to ask the mod. to address any issue.
Both me and my wife have expressed our disgust at what was said and the mods. won't come out and say that it 'does not belong here and won't be tolerated'..... plenty of other rules flexed...... but if it concerns women and degrading stuff.... bleh, who cares >:(
Know this !... it's OUR call if me and my wife were offended, not anyone else's...

for crying out loud, a guy complimented your wifes figure, then expressed concern for her safety in what appeared to be inadequate riding gear.  get over it and post a pic of your bike.  any other concerns should be addressed in PM's with either the person who offended you or the moderator.

Hey Scottly, I'll probably twist the tops off 3 quarts of Spectro this weekend, along with a couple of Costco's finest Kirkland brews. ;)

No major work done.  I post something every 5000 miles and do a little bragging here - http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=6895.0

There hasn't been much to talk about lately in the updates, and there won't be much this time either.  The thing has been running good.

Ofreen that pic is great, did you get any other angles with the rest of that blooming field in the background?  I'm guessing that was shot in Idaho somewhere.

Thanks, that was the best shot. Here are some others taken at the same spot.  It is a cool old farm north of Grangeville, ID.

Hey, don't turn this into an oil thread!!  ::) On the other hand, 140,000 miles makes a good argument for Spectro. ;D

It is amazing in reality, too.  There are some more photos of WA129 here, as well as its Oregon counterpart, OR3.  These were taken during the relay in July -

Went for a ride today and stopped by the cemetery to see a bronze plaque that was placed at my grandfather's grave for his military service. Some of the trees are already at full color.
