Not quite out on the road, but at a friends house after the maiden test ride since getting it and making it road worthy.

You and I are on the shortlist now of SOHC owners who also have a Valkyrie (mine is a '97 Standard). Love 'em all!

Beautiful day in Seattle. Took the bike on its first Winter ride since I've owned it. She's cold blooded, but can't say no to a sunset ride at the beach.

Thanks, man! I appreciate that.

Although my bike would be running better if I spent more time cleaning the carbs and less time trying to take pretty pictures.

All great shots.  Makes me want to get out there.

DHall57:  The Anteres Red beast is looking good.  Got a warm place in my heart
for this bike as I bought a new one in 76 and put about 30k on it with an 811 kit.
One problem though in your pic,  that horse will never fit in that bath tub.  What's up
with that?  Stickman...

Hey SM. Thanks for the nice words.  I'm rather fond of the K6 also there my favorite of the K series 750's. Im still looking for a left #2 inner 341 pipe. This would make me a complete set to put back on it. Hope I can find one in 2013. If you run across a decent one let me know. Do you have any pics of your old 6, if so post a few. Bet you wish you still had it. Tell me a little history on it. This picture  was took not far from my house. Been by this gravel road many times, but yesterday was the first time I went down it. This is out in the country with several small farms around. The horse is humongous, hard to tell by my pic how large it is. My first thought was its a Clydesdale. Don't know the story about the old tub, its just sitting there inside the fence. My guess is a watering trough for Mr Ed ;D

Alright. I don't have any of Cassandra yet, but here are some pics technically taken with her out on the road! These pics were taken the end of last summer.

Stop at the GET & GO in downtown Climax,NC today on the KO and ran into a very nice couple on this futuristic 3 wheel Can-Am Spyder.
He said he saw me from across the road and could tell it was a old CB and was hoping I would stop. He's a old Honda rider himself and said he hadn't seen a 750 in years. Said he never thought he would like the Can-Am, but he loves it. We stood around for 30 min. or so talking about back in the 70's and the old Honda's.

Dhall57:  I sold my 76K in the late 70's and no photos have survived over the years.
It was a great ride that carried me faithfully to Calif., Canada, Pa, New Orleans and o Daytona and Myrtle Beach more times than I care to count.  My riding buddy had a 74K Boss Maroon Metallic like yours and it too was a screamer with an 836 kit.

As you may know or guessed, I occasionally buy and resell some old school bikes including my favorite, the sohc 750.  Back about 5 years ago, I sold this bike to a fella named Mike in
Willmington, NC who may be or was on this site.

It was very much like my  old 76 with a stock engine and it was hard to let it go.  Looks very much like my old 76K and  kinda like yours too.

Here is my current project, a K0 that I am saving from the life of a chopper.  Just snapped this one for you after sitting the tank and side covers in place.  The HM300's go on tomorrow.  And yes, its in my dining which is heated and my garage is not. It's  starting to take shape and should be completed in a couple weeks.  A good way to wile away the cold winter days tinkering on my favorite bike.

I will keep my eyes open for your stock pipe you are looking for.  I see some occasionally.
