Thanks, guys! :)  That tree growing out of the seat is bugging me so much, though, that I may just have to ride out there again soon to re-take the picture from a slightly different spot.

Any excuse for a ride is a good excuse, but now you can use the time and gas to ride somewhere else -

I've got a picture of the same building, taken back in 2002, with the CBR sitting a little behind the spot where your bike is sitting.

Good point, but I have an uncle that lives in a cabin up near RMNP, and I like to try to visit him a couple of times each Summer, so I'll be back up that way anyway.  Besides, the Peak-to-Peak really is one of the best day rides around here.

Photographed on a slide viewer - I should have cropped and neatened them up.

Yea, Bayville.  My favorite "haunt" is thru Cold Spring Harbor, North on 25A and to TR's home in OysterBay Cove and then to Bayville, Locust Valley and Back.  Of course, Snake Hill Road in CSH gets "hit" on the way back.

Nah, no cropping necessary. I just recently copied some 40 year old slides using a duplicator on my NiKon and the image format looked familiar.

I did that last week but took the  wrong bike I had my Yamaha Roadstar .
The floor boards hit when I lean it over. It scared the crap out of me the first time it happened.
