Anybody know what it is? I have had this thing for about 10 years and never seen another like it. I know what it is and it is specifically for the CB 750.
Any guesses?

Looks like the right side top motor mount with a provision for a highway peg.

Heres another picture of it put together. It should be easier to figure out now.

EDIT; Not a foward control, not a rear set or a foot peg mount. It bolts to the engine (somewhere on it). It is mechanical and specifially does something.

Mystic is correct.
It's either a:
1) reverse pattern shifter mechanism (for std.mounting of gear lever) or
2) shift pattern "corrector" for rear sets using the Std shift lever mounted in facing rearwards position.
I'll post a pic of it mounted in a few days. I came down with the flu and am stuck inside for a few days.
