I got a top end set from http://www.westernhillshondayamaha.com/default.asp a few years ago.  Call and ask for Terry at the Vintage Parts desk.  The kit I go did not have sealing rubbers (pucks) or the valve guide seals.  They should also be able to hook you up with standard rings too.

If not, you can try www.servicehonda.com Good prices and reasonable shipping.

Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

I got a set of CB500 rings from Cycle-Recycle last year.  Standard rings were not easy to find.  The only downside was that they were mis-adressed and floated around in the postal system for over a month before being returned to Cycle-Recycle and the mistake was corrected.  Top end gasket kit is the same as a CB550.  I picked up a set of Athena gaskets at Bike Bandit, and have had no problems.  Came with the pucks too.

Well if the top end kit is the same as the 550, then read this thread.  It's my rebuild thread now that I have my motor apart.  It has a lot of part numbers sprinkled throughout.
