hi can anyone tell me if elctronic ignition from another bike will work on a 750/4
any help in this matter would be greatl appriated

...I would think it would be failry specific...best bet is to stick with the correct model...if u got one for free or something it would be worth a try though...

I would hesitate to try though. The sensor for stock ignitions from other bikes will be a bugger to adapt to the 750. The advance curve is usually built in to the ignition module on modern bikes, and is unlikely to be ideal for the 750 and you'll need to disable the mechanical advance.
The installation might take a ridiculous amount of time and may not work, getting a Dyna or Boydsen aftermarket electronic system made for your engine is the better approach.

You might be ableto do one from a later 750 or 900, maybe. I do not know though but if you could find a way, it would open doors for the rest of us to get a cheapo electric ign.
