4 in to one header
« on: February 08, 2009, 03:27:43 PM »
The 4 head pipes appear to be jamb fit into the collector, with only about 3/8" to 1/2" engagement. Is this normal? I am going to have the header ceramic coated. Anything I should know? I've gotten the 5 pcs apart. Need to bang out a couple of dents. Also I need flanges to replace the ugly cast finned originals. Thanks for any info.

We probably need more info, but I'm guessing it's a factory 4-1 on a 400 or 550??

I'm not sure how far they are supose to go in, but I'm sure someone on here does.
