my painted tank and side covers

so i finally finished my tank and side covers and got them mounted again got my fenders powdercoated now just need to do some tweaking with the carbs and fix an oil leak which appears to becoming from inside the shifter cover hope it is not something to serious.i wanna get in a full season of riding this year.When i start it you can hear a sputter on the left tailpipe so i think either cylinder 1 or 2 needs some refinement. i have included a video where if you listen you can hear the sputter or misfire. i had to start the bike  a couple hours earlier to tinker with it as it is freaking cold here -21 Celsius in Edmonton ab or for you American chaps -9 Fahrenheit.Now i just need to dismantle my shocks to powdercoat the springs unless someone can suggest a cheaper alternative for painting them and get the rims powdercoated black as well then get some new tires put on.After looking at the pics of the bike anybody want to toss in some suggestion as to what kind of tire you think would suit this look  on the bike i was considering the spitfires or even a dunlop sport tire.As for  riding i am still new at it and enjoy nice casual riding nothing crazy  so i prefer a good street tire with good traction but would like to put a wider tire such as a 130 in the rear.                any input you guys can give to improve it would be welcome cheers boys and gals!

Looks good! Where did you get your grips, mirrors & gauge faces/covers?

mirrors i got from dennis kirk online the grips i got from a supplier in town here in edmonton and the face of the gauges i had vinyl aplliques made at a graphics shop and installed them and put gauges back together have another set that are black with white numbers and blue markers and writing.i had them made up incase i went with more chrome but i didn't as you can see and opted for all black where possible.

I don't think I'd worry about the carbs just yet. Fired up almostly seemimgly without the starter even turning and runs pretty smooth at -10F. I believe I'd roll her back into the garage and go jump into my Arctic Spa.

i went with avon tires and love them.  great look, great grip, and good price!

spitfires are a very nice tire (i've found) for my riding... and I ride stupid, actually.  I ride most roads like its a race-course (without the knee-dragging...)

Way too fast in turns, etc, and to be honest... The tires have caused me ZERO issues.  Definitally recommend them.  And after about 3,000 hard miles, they show very little signs of wear..

the seat is a 1 off i made in the garage last summer wanted something more comfortable but still be able to take my kids for rides.the original seat was in bad shape and pan was rusted badly so i took out some sheet metal and off i went. I'm proud of what i have done so far but i must admit it is nothing compared to some of the jewels i've had the pleasure of seing on this site stock and modified!
