New kid on the CB550 block!

How goes it? I just scored a 1976 CB550K for $100. It starts, runs and stops! It definitely needs some attention, nothing a few nights and weekends can't fix. (I hope) This forum definitely seems to be the place for all the info I'll ever need for this bike. With all this info at my finger tips I should have my bike on the road in no time!

i scored a 76 550k for 100 bucks too. it stopped, no run though. well, the caliper was frozen, does that count? great score. don't forget the pics as you make progress.

also, tell me you've been to the black hawk museum. i went about 8 or 9 years ago, would love to get back down there.

later,

ryan

Congrats, $100 bucks is a deal if it goes and stops.  But these darn things age like people it seems.  And old people need more attention, ie leaking fluids and making weird sounds, lol.
