Opinions on the tank ? A friend tried to talk me out of the stripe.
The bikes finally coming together. Lots of new stuff. Not going to bore you w/ details. Still need side covers, gauge faces, mirrors, and lights. Really on the fence with the mirrors. Think I'll go w/ bar end. By the way, how big of a job are the gauge faces to replace ?   Thanks !

I like the stripe.  But the question is do YOU like it?

Bar-end Mirrors would look Swwweeeeet on that bike... again, just my opinion.

Yeah, that stripe is great.  Have you ever seen pinstripe tape along the edge of the stripe?  It might be a thought to consider, plus it's temporary if you don't like it.

Very nice job from what I can see, have you been at it long?

I thought the stripe came out great ! I love it . I wish I could take credit for the paint job, but i can't. A friend with 25 plus years body experience offered to paint it cheap, so there ya go! We talked about a pinstripe, not sure yet. Kinda like it as is. Got a new lock for the lid, 32$ from Honda !  Its all in the details right ? Could'nt see the old beat up lock in that fresh tank.

If your old lock is les then cosmetically perfect, but in tact and didn't rattle like heck I might be willing to take it off your hands cheap.

Also... where is New Market? I am a NYer and clueless to VA geography still. I am in Centreville, Fairfax county.

How are the bars?  I personnaly dont want clubman's, back cant seems to handle that for longer rides, and yours seem to be a good compromise compared to the stockers.

Do you remember the dimensions on those?

Thanks for the compliments.  :)  Really love this bike. The bars are just your standard $20.00 superbike bars. They are very comfortable. Ya get that sportbike feel, without breaking your back. Took a little time and patience rerouting the stock cables, but it worked out fine. Need to get new grips and mirrors, just not sure which ones yet. 750 Cafe, we can definitely work something out on that lock. I'll get a pic. I'm in the Shenadoah Valley about 15 min. N. of Harrisonburg. 1 1/2 hr. or so from you.
