Well, I installed brand new stock pilot jets and 110 mains in the carbs, and WOW this thing is nice. I still don't have the gauges attached so I can't comment on MPH or revs, but cracking the throttle open in first pops the front tire off of the ground. My 750 can't do that.

The plugs are a beautiful tan color, and I think the carbs have stopped overflowing.

On the downside, both Wal-Marts near me have stopped carrying the oil filter I need, so I'll have to find a new source for that.

2 - You are running larger tires on stock rims? What are the sizes & how are they working out?

Front: 100/90H-19
Rear: 120/90H-18

The taller tires and 13.5" shocks mean my center and side stands don't do much anymore. Also, the taller shocks have me tilted forward a bit more than stock.

I've only taken the bike on one ride, so I can't tell you exactly how they feel yet.

I believe stock sizes were measured in inches but 100/90 and 110/90 most closely match those.

My bike is far from stock, so I can't comment on any interference issues that a wider rear would pose. It doesn't hit the chain or swingarm, though.

I pulled the steering stem and installed a thicker washer underneath, the bike rides straight and true now.

The 80mm LED rings I bought to finish off the gauges turned out to be too small, so I have some 90mm ones on the way. After that, the bike's DONE.

Sure does! It would have been interesting to do a before/after dyno with the CB650 cam. I don't trust my butt dyno to make any real statements.

Are you going to do a dyno run on the new setup? A stock CB550 ran 36-38 rear wheel horsepower when new. Would be interesting to see what yours makes now and wiuld help with your final jetting as well. A very cool build!

In installed new carb gasket kits last week, and got some Honda fuel line from my local Honda place to replace the original cracked stuff. No more fuel leak!

I ordered the drive gear and tach from a 650. I should get them in first thing next week, and I'll be ready to stick a "DONE" sticker on this thing.

I'm thinking about redoing the seat cover to eliminate wrinkles, but besides that, I'd have to say I'm pretty much done.
