With there being so much in here, I know it would be hard to find. I have posted this before, but not for a while.
Metric tires are sized by width(in mm)/height(as a percentage of the width) X rim size in inches. So a 120/90X16 is 120 mm wide by 108(90 percent of 120) for a 16 inch rim. Inch tires, unless stated by a decimal other than .25 increments are 90% height. Confusing, isn't it? A 4.25 X18 is a 4 1/4 " wide tire, but a 4.60 is a 4 " tire with a 60% height, or a low profile tire.
