the K8 motor has this on it.


My old K1 motor had this on it.

yeah yeah, I know it's beat up...

what's the deal?

I wonder if this was one of the changes that went into effect when production was moved from one factory to the next in...1974?  or just a K7-K8 thing.

Probably the casting mold just wore out and was replaced
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
