Getting carbs in and out

What is the easiest way to take out and put in the carbs on a 350F?  I got them out by monkeying with the plastic airbox and popping out all the rubber boots.  There has got to be an easy way without taking apart the whole bike.  Any ideas?

another hint - use another ratchet strap to push the carbs into the carb-head connectors....they go on nice and steady as well - heat the connectors with a hair dryer for a few minutes makes them soft enough - also smear inside the rubbers with a bit of vaseline or your choice of lubricant...

take the air intake off the bike completely.  this is the part that fits from the carbs into the filter housing.  There is an oval tin piece that fits from the intake runner into the filter box.  You can pry this piece into the filter box after you have removed the paper element. 
then pulling the carbs and replacing them is easier, not easy but easier.

as GREG stated, take off/out the airbox. 
and while its out, check it for leaks and seal if needed.
