SQUIRLEY!  Man after my own heart.  I'm working on a monoshock CB750 right now and was this close to going with the Kawasaki wheels you have on that H1.  Both bikes are spectacular!  Keep it up.

it is a huge tank bag that expands to TWICE that size... but in that configuration... it fits in my normal tuck, the bike is sooooo small that the position is probably a lot more upright than you imagine.  if i were to lay on the bag it would be a nice comfortable race position, actually.  bike is way to small to get down on the tank.

now... off to spend the rest of my snow day racing tourist trophy w/ my own biker chick.   ;D

Nice bikes !
Ben ;)

Also, Ben, the tank bag blocks a lot of the wind. I usually always have one on board, especially on day long trips. Holds a different face shield tint, water bottle, snacks, rainsuit, first aid kit, (yes I've used it, often on other riders), cable lock, camera, binoculars for sightseeing, etc.

It wasn't until I got older (40+) that I used a windshield at all. If you can't hang on you're a wus (or so I thought). Windshields are much better.

That bike is a beaut! I always saw it in your avatar and wanted to see more or it. Very cool classic take on cafe style. Betcha you wish you still had her.

Thanks I was pretty proud of it. It wasn't "classic" then, it was current. Most had never seen anything like it.  I was working in a shop in Ft Lauderdale, the service manager had worked for Pops and did my head, Action4 836cc kit, K0 cam (R1). We met Pops at a booth at the Daytona 1972 show and they shook hands like old friends.

So I quit there, rode it back up to Indiana (2.5 gallon tank w/ no reserve) showed it off till it got stolen 6 weeks later. Like a dumb kid, no insurance.

Here's what i've been working on all winter.
It's in my basement right now (no garage :( )
almost ready to ride. It's being painted and
a few parts are still on order. I will post my
build thread in a couple of weeks.

My work in progress. I've got a spare motor that I'm taking apart and rebuilding right now that will get the Yoshi big bore kit and exhaust. I'm also making my own resets. Maybe I'll make thread for it in the projects area because I have a lot more planned for it.
