When I worked for a dealer, one of the dist. reps had a newer, built CT70(almost 110cc) that would power wheelie. ;D ;D ;D
Go metric, every inch of the way!

Nice...My Dad tore mine down(1969 Z50) and reworked the head and basically blueprinted it in our family run shop, we put regular triple clamps on it with some mx bars, magura throttle & levers and took the front fender off to give it a more flat track look..used to be able to do feet up slides and when we held the shifter down in the gear we changed to it acted like a hand clutch and we used to pop that little hard tail around spinnin the tire..man what fun
i think i mentioned it a bit earlier in the thread..a friend drowned it in a creek at one of our riding spots..never did say he was sorry..my Dad said "were never bringing him again" i agreed..here is a neat shot i found

Is that last picture in the Inspiration thread?  'Cause it's Cooool!  How would you even label that? Bobber? Chopper? "lowrider"?

You have the best pics Eco!

But I need Tacos!  I need them or I will explode!

:D I had planned to put it there, but this thread started and seemed a good place. Feel free to stick it there as I just posted stuff in the IG.

I'm sicker than a dog today (where did that expression come from?) and gotta sleep.

Ive ridden a CX500 Silverwing and felt the same as those goofy CT types...i used that bike while my CB400F was being rebuilt, also i rode a CX650 Turbo which if you held the throttle open it would singgggg!
CX500's are goofy looking in my opinion..but i like goofy sometimes!
didn't mean to offend anyone, i know people are sensitive

The wierdest bike i rode was a honda fat cat..rode like a pregnant hippo (no i don't know what that feels like) but its as close a description i can think of..might have been the bulbous tires..of coarse the service dept had them under inflated i suppose..i used to work @ Walnut Creek Honda motorcycles
as a salesman..back in the day..rode a reflex too..spindly little trials bike..maybe the narrowness..where'd i go on this thread? i missd the point i think?
whatever..it's almost FRIDAY!

it's a warm one today in western mass. i'm sleep deprived and haven't stopped to eat much. oh, and i'm behind in schoolwork with a week to go.

i'm just sayin'...

this one appeals to my minimalist side. carried gas in the frame, and i like the spine bikes (shocker there) so this is in the same spirit. plus, it seems to fetch the cuties like this one. i mean the girl.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the builder of the CT70 Roadsport.
He also built the GA50 (post ten on the second page).

Its Robert Kelii. Check his work at robertkelii.com
He restores and builds concept bikes.
He has relocated from socal to the PNW.

He is building my CR550F Factory roadracer wannabe.
Its on his site.

SL Hondas, DT Yamahas, CB550's, RD's, XS's, motocrossers, trials... etc. He builds 'em.
He is finishing up a very fine XS650 right now. BeAuTiFuL Bike!

Here is his work on my 550 so far.
The next pics should be quite awesome. His bikes are jewel like...

Oh, he could use the work in this current economy right now.

Max! I'm so glad you brought him up. I had discovered your wheels on his site and was going to bring it up. Forgot. What a blast to be hunting around his site and go "gee that bike looks familiar." Tell him he has some fans here.

I dig the Roadsport and yours!

These are a tad old as I haven't been able to paint in a while.
