Throttle
« on: October 24, 2005, 03:28:47 AM »
I have a 73 CB750 and noticed that when the handle bars are turned completely to the right, my RPM's increase until the handle bars go back some. Is this normal or is there somthing wrong?

Definitely not normal. Check your throttle cable for proper routing. Also make sure you have the proper length cable.

i had that problem, my deal was that i had no play in the throttle, so when i turned the bars to the right i was leaning on the throttle a little which increased the rpms. If i had more play in the throttle, that wouldnt happen. Make sure you have some play in that throttle.
