Left over parts after head gasket replacement
« on: April 17, 2005, 10:07:16 AM »
I'm finishing a head gasket replacement on a 77 750A and have one piece left over and I don't where it came from. It's applears to be an aluminum oil orifice that sprays oil for lubrication. It's got an outside diameter of about a quarter inch and is maybe a half inch long. It narrows from about a quarter inch to a sixteenth of an inch with small orifices on the narrower portion. I believe is came out of the cam tower. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have just rebuild my 77 CB750A and

you should have 2 of them , (cam cover removed) ther should be 4 o-rings along the  head about 1/4 " in size, the 2 inner place ones contain the oiler jet..
