160 honda
« on: April 16, 2009, 05:16:54 PM »
After helping on his truck repair a friend offered me a 160 honda. It has chrome tank sides and a tube frame. the frame is primer but it is assembled. the exhaust, carb and seat are off but it is all there. The title is in original owners name [deceased] but he has papers to get it squared away. The tank emblems are cracked but they look like ones from a benely I saw on E bay. It has a can with a tool kit in it. I gotta offer money to make sure I get it all. There are parts in boxes too. Any guesses on what it is?

Yes thanks. Like that but not quite as pretty. yet. I also have a connection to an older gent who has two old hondas in the garage. It is surprising what turns up when you start talking to people about old hondas.

It's a twin? I only saw it from the side and it was behind another bike. Thanks, I'm really getting stoked. I better go pick it up soon.

I ran into him, he says don't come to pick it up but he is still bringing it over. I offered to buy it or trade for a minibike but he insisted he still wants to give it to me. I see by the posts it's been over a year. ???
