Hey all,here are some pics of my bike now that I had the fairing painted the sunrise orange flake to match.I took it for its first ride yesterday and had two offers to buy it .It is a work in progress(arent they all)I put different rear shocks,cycle x gauges,dyna s ignition and coils,Fat rear tire,am in the process of finishing up my cafe seat(made it)have a nice set of alloy wheels I will put on eventually.

I am pretty sure it was for an early 80's cb900.(Rickman CR900)the fairing was called a Centura.I tried to find some info on it but couldnt.

heres some more pics,now with my homemade cafe seat.I deliberately made the seat short enough so I can use the grab rail with turn signals.(ridin through cali in july,want to be legal.)

Two things:
1. I love that tail light.
2. I love that seat.

You gotta post more pictures of that seat with a description of how you made it.  Looks really nice.

Heres another one,I made a skeleton frame out of cheap stock aluminum and rivets,seat pan itself is perforated alluminum from an old sattelite dish,(light and strong)I wish I took pictures of the process.This pic is before I put the fairing on.(and different stripes)

thanks,So I made a skeleton frame of alum. then laid fibreglass and resin.skipped the mold part and just went for it.turned out pretty good,just dont turn it over,but who cares no one will see it.I forget where I got the taillight,cycle x maybe or the rice paddy.I used two layers of different foam so its pretty comfy too.
