discolored exhaust wrap

got about 150 miles on the wrap, and just noticed today that the two middle pipes were almost "bleached white"    i assume from the heat , and it's only where the wrap is single layer. 

i'll be painting it i suppose , just wondering if anyone else has had this happen

mine do that as well....i just cleaned them with a pressure washer,now they look fresh and clean again....

at first i thought it was discoloring from the heat...but most of it is just grime and grease etc.....
it surpriced me how well it washed off....but dont put 3000 psi on it to wash,it will ruin your work...

I have gotten a little lightening over the last 14 months/ 6000+ miles on my wrap, it stopped after a coat or 3 of DEI header wrap paint, it seals it much better.
Mine is still really black, and it started life the natural/brownish color.
