We have been using it on other forums, since it was introduced. So far so good. It has a value to see who is close to you to hook up with, or when your are doing your travels. Nothing like a fellow member to visit.

Just my $.02 worth.

Finally worked for me, but only if I included something in the Shout Out portioin, thought it was optional.

I just tried it and got on there(twice!). I even got a picture of my bike on there finally.Doing photos on the computer is new to me but I want to learn how to do more of it.

According to their FAQ

When you add yourself to the map, you can select a photo to upload. If you forgot to do it the first time (or need to change it), add yourself to the map again (upload a photo this time), and your new photo will be used instead

I have not tried it so can't vouch for it working as described. Maybe you can let us know if it works.
