I nearly traded my 500/4 for one of these in 1979.

Now I have one...

Congrats, looks superb :)

Back in 1980 when I had a GS1000, I used to luv racing Honda9's ;D. A couple of mates had them. They put 4into1 Yoshi's on, what a sound, I can still hear them!

It runs beautifully Fuzz.  A topend (including camchain and tensioners) about 4k miles ago certainly helps...

Grizzly: I'm sure the GS1000 would piss all over it. They certainly did in the 80's. The air suspension and frame geometry of the Suzuki was rightly acclaimed in it's day.

The CB was just another UJM. The Showa FVQ shocks were named "Fade Very Quickly" back then - I'm sure they still do!

Steve

A well ridden Honda9 was a damn fast bike and was a match for any bike in it's class when these bikes were new. I know, beating one was not a forgone conclusion.

Anyway a quarter of a century on none of that is relevant on the road anymore. I don't think there can be that many owners now who would thrash a bike as good as yours as hard as that and on a regular basis. But ya never know.

Honda9's, gorgeous bikes, enjoy.
