I kinda like it, despite the fact that it's a DOHC.

I pulled up while she was going this to her poor defenseless bike. She says girls like it and guys don't. Being a guy, I have to agree. A picture does it no justice. But she likes it  :)

Hi, Sweetie here under Spanner's banner.  Thanks for the comments and I'd like to add that it takes a superior intellect to appreciate fine art.  It's now very much a chick bike but since Spanner is now fully committed to rusty old SOHCs, I'll leave some room on the back for him next time we go out riding.  :-*  :-*  :-* In fairness, the last time he had to ride home on the back was the fault of the old DOHC 750K that he got rid of.  hee hee hee

"Clan of Byrnnoyle" - good one!!!

spanner/sweetie... are you aware that you must get new riding gear now?   ;D

what a horrendous scheme... you sure did get the ugly end of the tartan stick!   :P   ;D

is that all just pinstripe decal material?

I would have had to put the bullet in the head smiley instead.

nice work... i do appreciate a custom, simply for the imagination.

Hey Sweetie, welcome! There are two reasons why I'd say that you and Spanner have a promising relationship. First, you can paint a bike, by hand, no less. Second, he calls you Sweetie.

You mean that their relationship may rest only on Spanner's term of affection?

ha!

no, I ask because it could be done w/ pin striping sticker instead of paint.

Upon closer inspection, I'd say this is correct.  At least it doesn't look like pin-stripe tape when zooming in.

You go girl Sweetie, my partner "Jaffa" is about to ruin a perfectly good GSX400L by painting it "PINK" so tartan aint so bad.
Maybe I could talk her into her family tartan (the Macdonalds) {small c}.
But I reckon she could be onto something here, I mean who in their right mind is gonna steal a pink bike?
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
