Parts compatibility between cb750 and cb750a hondamatic

To what extent are the parts interchangeable between these bikes, mainly body/frame pieces. I have a hondamatic i picked up for basically nothing, but the front end(mainly the fork) needs to be replaced. Could I use the front end of cb750k? What would this entail? Thanks

There is a lot of interchangeability, just not in the transmission. As far as forks go, they will swap right across, they may not look the same , but will fit, and function fine.

Thanks Hondamagic that answers a lot for me. Will it require welding, or is it a bolt on deal? Besides the cables, etc.

I don't know of any reason why it wouldn't be a direct bolt in. No welding, cutting or grinding required.
