Hidden Names?
« on: June 11, 2009, 02:43:26 pm »
So the other day I noticed what I thought was rust gathering around the collars of my exhaust. So, today I sat down on my drums stool and began taking them off, figured I'd give them a good polish while I was at it. I took the first collar off and noticed that it wasnt rust. It looked like it was some sort of tape? maybe? that someone had put around it. Maybe they didn't like the fact that it came in two pieces.

Whatever. I start tapping at whatever time has turned the tape into to chisle it off. And that's when I see something on the inside of the collar. Something written in black marker, who-knows-how-long ago.

On to the second exhause. Same tape remains and on the inside more writing. This one is more clear and it looks like a name.

I take off the other two collars and notice that there is a name on them as well.

The romantic part of me likes to think that these are the names of the people who built it. But, seeing as it is written in English, I doubt this is the case. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Secret code written in Slovenic Gypsy tongue, Hot, Very hot, Bloody hot, SHIZEN SHIZEN SHIZEN!
But I do like the idea of taping the halves together so you aren't peeing about trying to line everything up and they keep falling onto the floor and running off to the farthest corners of the garage!!! shizen shizen shizen.... ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

my friend and I always write our name, date, and something about what was done to the motor inside the oil pan, on the side. or inside the valve cover.
everything I say is pure speculation and

Almost bought a Linner/Louter exhaust, but come to find out it was a Rinner/Louter which will only work on the left side of a Kawasaki.
