oooohhhh yesss! Seeley!
« on: June 25, 2009, 01:38:52 PM »
Today I made the deal for a Seeley frame with aluminum tank, side covers and seat.
Great to start a new project.
Seller is a butcher as you can see easily at the pig bath where the frame is located in.
I get a few sausages for free, too.
Should I bee more happy about the free sausages or about the frame,....hm?

It's nickel plated.
I found it 9 months ago close to my homebase in South Germany. I knew the seller would store it.
After visiting the races in Spa, I knew i have to get this Seeley kit and made the deal with the seller.

BTW, probably for the European guys, I know a CB750 PEM race frame which is available for sale.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

At about $6450 USD, the Seeley appears -if the condition is good- to be a pretty fair price. Unless the kickstand mount has been trimmed, the frame could be one of the rarer Seeley race frames, and the list of included spares is extensive.

Of course, the usability of all the included kit is a major consideration.   ::)  RR

man, that thing's a beautiful sight!

at first when you said butcher... i thought you meant he hacked up the frame or did sub-par work to it.

i'm a bit slow.
