Crank Seal 78 750K
« on: June 28, 2009, 06:21:31 PM »
I'm just looking for confirmation that this seal can be replaced without splitting the cases. I've read, trim the lip off the new seal and drive it in w/ a little RTV. Got a trip coming up. Also interstate speeds, 70-80 mph for hours at a time tachn 5k no big deal right ?  :-\  Any help appreciated !

You can only do that IF you get the old one out!

Good luck, dont gouge your cases..
