Ok so it's raining out out and with everything on the bike locked up I decided the wet grass would be a great help. I was right, it slid along without issue.
This is my dad's old '76 GT500, it was in a barn for a number of years. One winter the barn collapsed, and for whatever reason it was decided rather than leave it under what was left of the barn (there's still a Yammie 250 in there in better shape purely for being under what little is left of it) it was pulled out into the snow to sit for years. Today it will begin a new life! I hope. It may not be worth it, but I'm tearing into it. My only concern is where the heck to start and how to go about it.
Nearly everything is locked up. I think the tranny is free, but the pistons are rusted in there nicely. Anyway, picture bombardment and a single questions: where the heck do I start? I've never worked on a 2-stroke.
Any suggestions (if I can get the engine free, go through it a bit, etc.) on what route to take with this? I was considering street tracker.
(I'll upload the pictures later, I'm having issues with my camera)
