Heh going a lil old school here with these sorts of threads...anyone whos known me on here for awhile would recall that i have posted threads like this on here before wanting more info about a model. This time it is the Suzuki GS850. I will be picking this bike up in august for $250. It is either an 80 or 81..not sure since the portion of the decal on the neck that has the month of build is gone from age. Either way i have heard this bike run so on that side of things im not that concerned. Main things it needs is a new set of carbs (one of them has internal damage where the float pivot pin is). Handle bars (the originals are bent and have been removed), Headlight, Fuel tank. Front brake master cyl,and right side handle bar controls. Other then the required parts replacment this bike is in decent shape. only other thing is that the mufflers are long gone...headers are still there and i will probably just fab up some baffled pipes for it. (or get some mufflers from Mikes XS) So any info you guys can give me about it will help a lot.
