The MAC 4-to-1 systems are in stock at Dennis Kirk now.  I signed up to be on the mailing list when they came in and got the msg at the end of last week.  Both the all-chrome and the chrome/black were in.  I ordered the chrome/black and it's supposed to be here Tuesday.  I think it said they only had like 3 of each, though....so maybe they are gone already...

Got the black/chrome 4-1 MAC from Jerry's Cycles about 3 months ago.  I was disappointed by the quality, the exhaust tips were dinged a bit and they've already started to get surface rust around the collector.  Jerry's Cycle were pretty fast about delivery, in all fairness.

I wouldn't make the same purchase twice.  I do like the sound, though.  Very quiet idle and nicely scuzzy and loud above 3K rpm.  And true to their word, it does clear the center stand, though it unfortunately rubs one of the oil pan screws.

There's a bunch for sale on ebay right now.  I counted several of black, black/chrome, and chrome.

How interesting, good to know.

Screw Jerry's Cycle's, screw MAC and FTW.  I can practically see the hacksaw marks on the end of my can.  That and the fact the headers show rust after 3 months.  Never again will I buy MAC on or off ebay.  My next pipes are coming from Home Depot.  Consider this a product review.

well even thou all the negative feedback on the mac system i just ordered it directly from mac i know its not the best exhaust but i do have the best exhaust the mivv set with new headers and all in a box but after strangedaze39 mivv system got damaged it scared me too much to put that system on especially since im pretty sure i got the last one ever made by calling mivv up and checking the numbers with them so they    will stay with the old comic books :)  plus many members whose builds i respect like mattcb350f has the mac system so im gonna have to go with the views of the few outweigh the views of the many anyways gotta get ready for work have to deal with a tv show about top models this week

-thank you all for the help and ongoing help

i got a chrome one for my 78 cb750k last week. you can go on-line to get their toll free number and call mac directly to order one--having it shipped right to your door. it took them 6 days to ship it to me in md.

it fit well, looks and sounds good, and was way cheaper than a kerker.

im in the same boat--looking for a decent 4-1.  I've been checking ebay periodically but am getting anxious.  Anyone have any feedback on cycle x systems?  that 4-2-1 is pretty sexy.  maybe a custom exhaust shop can bend something up for me?

i hate the way my mac sounds. :( i wish i would have saved for a kerker. It sounds ok when your on the bike but i let my friend ride it and it is way to quiet and has no balls to the sound. I guess that good for some people.

the sound of the mac reminds me of a small displacement air cooled vw with a stinger pipe on it.
