Does anyone recall an Australian band from the '80s called Heaven? I was in a band at the time and the drummer had the album so we did a few off of it. I'd like to know more about them but can't find anything.

Geeze Killer, you are really dredging up the past mate, i played in my first band in 1979 and used to play a couple of Heaven covers.... Small world.... ;D

Australian Bands:

I saw Bon Scott in concert in 1979 I can proudly say that.

Angel City I saw twice once in Seattle and once in Anchorage AK. Kind of AC/DC-esque. Good pop tunes.

Thats interesting Duanob, they are called "The Angels" here and have been since the mid 70's, i have noticed over the years that a few bands change their name when touring the States, Shihad is another one, they had to change their name because the promoters thought the Americans may get the name confused with Jihad....true story, maybe the Religious nuts didn't like the name "the Angels".
I have seen that band probably over 20 times, they were a regular band at our local watering hole when i lived in Sydney, they regularly appeared with another great Aussie pub band "Rose Tattoo".... Saw the Angels about 2 months ago, still tight and playing well, they are very popular here.... ;)

Good to hear they're still rockin it! People here thought they were from LA. I knew they weren't.

Today I think I've listened to Queens of the Stonage "Mexicola" about 5 times out doing my errands....   I keep hitting repeat.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse playing Brisbane March 7th 2013. $157.85 a ticket, sitting or standing. Might have to go.

This is him in a trucker's hat. Patti Smith chimes in as well. Helpless.

Retro Rocket and FlyBox should like this.

Kadavar
A 3 piece rock band from Germany. I just found out about these guys today and downloaded their album off iTunes for $5. Badass stoner rock for sure. I love this sound.
