Don't miss it, how about you?

The one bike I had that I miss the least is a CM200 Twinstar. No style, no power, no fun. That said, I did buy it because I could and it did run well.

Anyone else ever buy a bike and wonder why?

KZ400. Cheap. Nice enough for a twin but could never bring myself to love it. Rattley. Slow. Sounded like an anemic Harley brand lawn mower. Luckily a kid in his Mom's BMW SUV left the hand brake off and it rolled over the KZ and some other guys brand new Italjet dragster before coming to a rest on top of both.

The universe has a way of working these things out and, after a little wrangling, the insurance paid off and mostly financed a GS1100e a friend was selling cause he was getting married  ;D

Guessing Mom didn't let that kid out in her car ever again.

When I was a kid I had a mid 70'ss Suzuki rm185 (I think it was an RM anyway...). Ran nice when it ran, but with all the electrical problems it had, it barely ever ran. I swore off Suzuki's for a long time after that.

I bought a Honda 500 twin back in the late 70's thinking it would be like a 450. What a mistake that was!!!!

+1 on the KZ400. Got one from a police auction. I guess the real owner didn't want it either. I was happy to sell that one.

Yeah an old XS250 from a mate's next door neighbour, a real sled! It barely made it home, thankfully the guy took it back. I was only tempted by the price...CHEAP! Then there was a GS500 built in Mexico (where it should have stayed), the single most gutless bike I ever threw a leg across.
