i just bought a 84 NH 650. the bike has a fuel leak that i thought would be fixed with a rebuild kit. well upon some further inspection last night, the number 2 carb has a chunk out of the bowl seating surface. the previous owner rigged it up with some jb weld to slow the leak.
anyway, does anyone know of any other set of carbs will work on this bike? are there any measurements i can get off the bike to help figure this out? i've found some used sets on ebay for around $150. i thought i'd check to see if anyone knows about a little bit bigger carbs for somewhere around that price or $100 more or so. it'd be sweet to find a set of carbs that the aftermarket is a little bigger for too. i've have some trouble finding jet kits for the stock carbs on the 650.
