my 71 finally hit the road

well, after 2 long months and lots of work and getting parts my 71 750 hit the road yesterday for the first time for a little 3 mile jaunt, felt awesome, i still need a few doodads but nothing major. just thought id share. thanks :D

no its not painted grey, ther was a lot of shadows when i took the pic. actually lots of the engine is polished, i cant believe nobody has said anything about my velocity stacks on the carbs. wrenchman

Yah, that is what we had for sissy bars back in the day.  And I remember the day.  My CB750K7 has one like that and it was great for the girls, great for holding sleeping bags on trips and it was the deal back then.  Some of those go for nice $$$ on eBay.
