tube coming out of top of 350F carbs

Hi, what are the 2 hoses that come out of the top of the carbs on the honda cb350F for? breather tubes of some sort?

how long do the hoses need to be and where should they be routed?

The tubes on mine were about 2 feet long. They were routed down in front of the battery just like the fuel bowl overflows.
